Query to filter recently uploaded photos

This request is meant for the desktop app. I upload/archive photos to my collection from various sources: scanner, SD card, mobile phone, etc. The devices use different timestamps, and I always have to go through a large number of pictures to find the newly uploaded ones. It's quite a hassle where the pictures end up. It would be great to be able to filter the photos by upload date (e.g., "Recently uploaded files").
